Profile of the Disappearance of Madeleine McCann and why Pat Brown’s book was pulled by Amazon.com

What really happened to Madeleine Beth McCann in Praia da Luz, Portugal in 2007?  Was she abducted as the Gerry and Kate have claimed or did something happen to Madeleine on May 3 in the vacation apartment and the incident covered up?

Criminal Profiler Pat Brown analyzes the evidence and takes the readers through the steps of profiling, developing a theory that is intriguing and controversial.

Editor’s Comment:

When Pat’s book was pulled by Amazon.com I was both shocked and disappointed because it reflected an attitude that is similar to the following individual who for all intents and purposes commented on the following video from the position of relative anonymity without providing any real substance for justifying her position . . .

Pat Brown admits her ideas are theories and not fact. She admits hating Kate McCann so we are hardly going to get an unbiased commentary from this woman. Profilers are rarely right in these cases…anyone can be a profiler and I suspect we all are to some extent, but it doesn’t mean we are right. Not a good book and it will harm the search for Madeleine. Well done Amazon for pulling it.

My response of course was swift and succinct . . .

When I went to check your profile there was very little information as to who you really are. Unlike Pat, or for that matter any individual who stands by what they say and write, you hide in obscurity shooting accusatory barbs under the obfuscating cloud of anonymity based on nothing more than personal opinion. Not only does this draw into question anything and everything you have to say, it is also the mark of a true coward. Come forward, be known and substantiate your position!

In the end, the quest for truth and understanding are noble traits that should be applauded versus condemned.
